It is suggested that Sunday School/Hebrew School begin after the high holidays, and with even meeting time difficult I think this is a great idea.

Sunday September 25 Rosh Hashana Day 1
Monday September 26 Rosh Hashana Day 2
Monday October 3rd Yom Kippur Start Sundown
Tuesday October 4th Yom Kippur (Day)
Sunday October 9 = Sukkot
Sunday October 16= Shmini Atzeret
Monday October 17= Simchas Torah
Monday October 10th - Friday October 14th = School Fall Breaks

Possibly on Sunday September 11 we could do a family craft to create Sukkot decorations to hang in the Sukkah.
